Meet Wexiödisk's new Sales and Marketing Manager

We catch up with Wexiödisk’s new Sales and Marketing Manager!

A few weeks ago, David Sebek joined Wexiödisk as the new Sales and Marketing Manager, following Henrik Florentzson’s transition to working solely with international markets at Wexiödisk.

But who is David? We took the opportunity to ask him a few questions to get to know our new colleague.

Hello and welcome, David!

What attracted you to the role of Sales and Marketing Manager at Wexiödisk?
I was drawn to joining a stable, manufacturing, and innovative company in a role with a strong focus on customers.

Which experiences from your previous career do you think will be most valuable for Wexiödisk?
Marketing and sales are my passion, and I hope to contribute by further enhancing customer focus – it should be easy to be a customer at Wexiödisk! My background is in sales, where I have always been involved in production and product development. I’m used to and enjoy matrix organizations, and I understand how the different departments work together.

What goals do you want to achieve with the team during your first year?
It’s a bit hard to say this early, but I hope that we’ll continue to develop what we’re already good at, while also being brave and trying new things. As a team, we are prepared and will seize opportunities as they arise.

You’ve just started your position, but have you already formed an impression of Wexiödisk’s products?
So far, I’ve only scratched the surface, but I’m impressed by the level of commitment and how passionate everyone is about the products, which is contagious. I’m already proud to be part of a great company with such innovative capabilities.

What do you like to do in your free time when you’re not working?
I do some training at the gym and running and I also like spending time gardening. I’ve recently developed a new interest in diving.

How would your previous colleagues describe you as a person and a leader?
We are shaped by our surroundings, but some descriptions that have followed me to varying degrees are: engaged, positive, courageous, decisive, adaptable, and goal-oriented. Hopefully, most would say I am authentic, which helps build relationships with others and allows them to grow and take responsibility. But they’d also say I set high standards (mostly for myself).

What do you think is the best part about working in sales and marketing?
Working in sales and marketing is about moving forward in a positive direction and working with people who see opportunities. At the same time, you’re where things happen, and you see the direct results of your work. It’s stimulating to work with both long-term and short-term goals, which gives the work a great dynamic.

If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would you go and why?
Really, anywhere that’s warm and where I can see exciting things underwater.

What is your family situation like?
I’m surrounded by four girls: Lisa, 26, Lina, 25, and Emma, 17, and my partner Pernilla.

We warmly welcome David to Wexiödisk and hope you enjoy working with all the amazing dishwashers and friendly colleagues.
