The heart of our business

Product development is at the heart of our business. New, unique products are part othe way forward and we will continue to develop new functions to make our already energy-efficient and water-efficient machines even more efficient.

Over at Wexiödisk's development and construction department, there are currently six employees. One of these is Andreas Norviit.

What role do you have at Wexiödisk?
I work as a constructor and my work places high demands on technical knowledge, flexibility and responsiveness. Each individual dishwasher contains a variety of subsystems from a number of technical areas, so the work is very varied. New product development is a major part of the work as a designer at Wexiödisk. Here it is evident that we have short lead times between the drawing board and the finished product, which is very stimulating and varied. 

What would you say is the most important part of your role?
To benefit in various ways from the experience gained during the years in the profession and at the same time be prestigeless, be able to listen to others and take advantage of the constant development that takes place in different areas of technology.

What is the best thing about your job?
The relationship with the work colleagues at the company is a big reason why I enjoy my job. At the same time, it is difficult to beat the feeling you get when you manage to grow with a task that ultimately ends up in a good product.
